About a month ago my beautiful cousin passed away. She was only a few years younger than me. We grew up together and she was one of my best friends through high school. I have so many memories with that girl that I will never forget. Death is a hard thing. I was having a sad day when one of my friends stopped by to see me. Her family experienced a similar loss recently and she knew just what to say. As she was leaving, there was this momma duck walking across the grass with her 10 baby ducklings! It made me smile. The boys came outside and we followed her around for a while.
I am grateful for the atonement and my Savior. I am grateful for friends. I know that I will see her again and that families are forever!

I am really sorry for you and all of your family. What a terrible thing to have happen. Life just doesn't really make sense sometimes. Especially when things like this happen to such young people. I am also grateful for the Plan of Salvation. I would be so lost without it. Your cousin is such a beautiful girl and I feel so terrible for everyone that knew her and loved her.
