Families are Forever

About a month ago my beautiful cousin passed away. She was only a few years younger than me. We grew up together and she was one of my best friends through high school. I have so many memories with that girl that I will never forget. Death is a hard thing. I was having a sad day when one of my friends stopped by to see me. Her family experienced a similar loss recently and she knew just what to say. As she was leaving, there was this momma duck walking across the grass with her 10 baby ducklings! It made me smile. The boys came outside and we followed her around for a while.
I am grateful for the atonement and my Savior. I am grateful for friends. I know that I will see her again and that families are forever!

the pool

Our pool was pretty nasty this winter. Everything that could possibly need replaced, needed replaced. Everything stopped working all at once. I never wanted to open our blinds in the back because I had to look at "the swanp." Seriously. I was so embarassed. We finally drained it once we could and once everything was fixed we filled it back up! It was pretty weird looking at a big hole in our yard. I thought it would make a nice skate ramp! Too bad the boys dont skate. They did enjoy it while we filled it back up. It was Feb so it was really cold but they could care less.
They swim in it almost everyday now!

My baby is 2!
Boston turned two back on March 27 th! It happened to fall on a Saturday and John didn't have to work, so we had a fun day planned. We were going to celebrate at IHOP for breakfast, then do some toy shopping for him, go to a movie then top off the day at Peter Piper Pizza for dinner.
Boy did he get jipped.
I woke up that morning with the worst migraine ever. I was in bed all day and nothing seemed to help ease the pain. John hung out with the boys all day and made them breakfast, lunch and dinner. Bos came in and snuggled me a few times so at least I got to tell him Happy Birthday and give him kisses! I did manage to crawl into the car and ride with the family to DQ late that night. He didn't care one bit, he still had fun! I felt really bad though.
The next weekend was Easter so we decided to have a little party for him since all of the family was going to be together. I made some easter basket cupcakes and he opened presents. He was a happy kid!
It's hard to believe he was born two years ago. I love this little man so much. I love his personality and watching him grow. He is talking so much and I cant get enough of how he says every ones names. It's funny to hear him call John "J" He calls Jaxson, "Jatsy boy" and Max, "MAAA." He still runs around the house calling my name, "mommmm, mom, mommy, mooom" I just love it.
He love to get haircuts. he will climb up in the salon chair and yell until I give him a neck trim or something.
Swimming is his favorite thing to do these days. He rips his diaper off and puts on any swim shorts he can find, including the older boys.
He love playing/fighting with his cousin Eden. We see them a lot and hopefully some day they will play without crying!
He still jumps off the couch and causes pain to himself. Recently he has started jumping off the top bunk in the boys room. I swear he is going to break something.

When it comes to Bos, a quiet house means trouble.
