Dec 31st is a great day to have a birthday! We started the day off by sleeping in which is something john never gets to do. He goes to work early every day and then gets up with the kids and lets me sleep in on Saturdays. We had 8am Church on Sundays but John had to be at 6:30 Bishopric meeting. Needless to say he was excited to sleep in. The boys and I planned on getting up early and making him breakfast in bed. That didn't happen. I don't think he cared to much since breakfast isn't his favorite meal anyway. We got up, got ready and headed to the San Tan Mall. We grabbed some lunch at Johnny Rockets and took the boys to see Alvin and the Chipmunks the Squeakquel! After the movie we did some B-day shopping for John. We had plans later to go to some friends house to celebrate New Years but decided to stay at home with the kids. We did some festive fire crackers with the neighbor kids a little early. We had the kids tucked in bed and sleeping by 10pm! We put a movie in and snuggled on the couch until midnight. It was a good day!
There are soooo many things I love about him, here are just a few:
John is an amazing man
He is a wonderful father, our boys really look up to him
He is the best listener
He is so calm, it takes a lot for him to get mad
He would do anything for our family
He works so hard and is good at anything he does
He teaches our children so much
He loves me
We are lucky he is ours!
